Logistics Manager Nicon Shipping

Nicon Shipping is looking for a Logistics Manager Nicon Shipping to join our Operations in Luganville, Espiritu Santo, Vanuatu. In this full-time role you'll play an important part in keeping our inter-island shipping and freight services running safely and reliably across Vanuatu.

What you'll do

• Carry out the core duties of the Logistics Manager Nicon Shipping role to a high standard: including but not limited to:
• Manage freight bookings, cargo tracking and manifests using our FreightOps system.
• Coordinate cargo receiving, storage, loading and dispatch.
• Work closely with vessel captains, crew and office staff to ensure efficient shipping operations.
• Ensure accurate freight records, payments and cargo accountability.
• Supervise logistics staff and maintain efficient daily operations.
• Handle customer enquiries, freight issues and delivery follow-ups.
• Provide regular operational reports to management.
• Work safely and follow Nicon Shipping's procedures at all times
• Communicate clearly and support your team and our customers

What we're looking for

• Reliable, punctual and a positive team player
• Good communication skills in Bislama and English
• Relevant experience in, or a genuine interest in, the Logistics Manager Nicon Shipping role
• Willing to learn and complete any training the role requires
